Welcome to Kinnoull Bowling Club

The club has been an integral part of the Kinnoull community for over 100years being established in 1887 to promote participation in the enjoyable sport of bowling. It is a small friendly club, run by a President and his committee elected by members at the Annual General Meeting, providing an excellent facility for sport and a relaxing social space for members.

We have an active membership who play regular matches between both our own members and the members of other clubs. The club is involved in three leagues, the Perth & District, the Campbell Trophy and the John Annandale Trophy which are played over the course of the season. There is an opportunity for members to represent the club in Bowls Scotland and Perthshire Bowling Association competitions each season.

Every Friday night we hold a club night to which all bowling members can attend and take part. The club is more than happy to welcome potential new members to one of these nights, both experienced bowlers and those new to the sport, to come along to meet and participate with our members, with a view to taking out a membership.

New Members

Kinnoull Bowling Club is delighted to welcome new members, including both experienced bowls players and those who are new to the sport. We also accept social members who benefit from our excellent facilities and bar prices.

We are able to provide bowls and shoes if you want to GIVE IT A TRY. The playing season normally runs from the second Saturday in April to the last Saturday in September.

Our Facilities

The club boasts and excellent outdoor bowling green with 7 rinks which is affiliated to both Bowls Scotland and the Perthshire Bowling Association. Our clubhouse has a main hall, that includes our bar which provides a wide selection of drinks at an excellent price, and can cater for functions for between 60 to 80 people. There are changing facilities, lockers and toilets for both gents and ladies, plus two kitchens suitable for catering and a committee room.

Maintenance of the bowling green and surrounds and various improvements to the clubhouse are carried out by volunteers from the club membership, the condition of which reflects the pride that these members have to be associated to Kinnoull Bowling Club.

Function Hire

Our main hall is available for hire, subject to agreement of the committee, and on payment of a donation of £50. The hall can cater for between 60 to 80 depending on the event being held. If you require bar facilities at the event the bar will be provided and staffed by Kinnoull members. Our kitchen facilities will be available if catering is required but, any such catering will need to be organised and operated by the hirer.

Should you wish to use our facilities for a private function you need to drop a note to the committee with full details in order to obtain their consent to the hire. If necessary, you can contact us for further details.
